Celebrating 80 years of AVK (1941-2021)
“80 years ago, AVK was found by my father, Aage Valdemar Kjær. Back then, AVK was a small workshop located in a small, rented house on Bækkevej in Galten, Denmark. Since then, numerous products have been developed, more factories and companies have been built or acquired and today, AVK consists of more than 100 companies, and we are more than 4,400 employees worldwide. We are almost there …
The end of 2021. For some it will mark the end of a year that felt meaningful and beautiful. Others will be thinking, “Thank God that’s almost over.” For us at AVK company in Vietnam, it’s a little of both.
80 years is a long journey and it’s worth it. “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together” — African proverb. We want to wrap up this year by telling you how thankful we are for each and every one of you, our customers, partners and all AVK employees who join us on this amazing journey and contribute to the success of AVK Group nowadays.

Whatever you’re going through right now, AVK team care about you deeply, and we have your back. We urge you to remember that everything is a phase. And phases change. Sometimes they change more quickly than we ever could’ve thought.

Celebration in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam
On 22nd December 2021, AVK Vietnam held a fantastic celebration for 80 years of AVK with all AVK Vietnam employees and our local distributors in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.
The event had the presence of Board of Directors of AVK Vietnam – Gert Borrits and Rasmus Møller Martensen, the presence of Marco Scheffer from Wouter Witzel, and the presence of Duy Binh’s team, the distributor of AVK Vietnam in the North via a Conference call.
